After twenty years, the hunt for a suspect in a northeast Arkansas murder case has apparently ended in Georgetown, Kentucky. Police there arrested 39-year-old James Snyder, Jr. Last night on a warrant issued by the FBI. Snyder is charged with two counts of capital murder in the 1986 deaths of Terry and Kathy Watts in Sharp County.

ST. JOSEPH (AP) - Police say they are certain a body dug up last week on farmland north of St. Joseph belongs to a woman who was killed 23 years ago.
"I am absolutely positive that" Rhonda Burgess "is who we have," St. Joseph police detective Larry Smith said. Michael E. Milbourn Sr., 44, and his mother, Shirley A. Milbourn, 66, both of St. Joseph, were charged in Buchanan County on Thursday with second-degree murder in Burgess’ death.

On November 5, 1997, after a day-and-a half of deliberations, a jury recommended that Vincent Doan be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Doan was convicted for the disappearance and presumed murder of his girlfriend Carrie Culberson on August 7, 1997. Culberson mysteriously disappeared in August 1996 and has been presumed dead. Her body has never been found.
On Sept. 15, Lawrence Baker, Doan's father, was charged with obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence in the murder of Carrie Culberson.
